Why We Switched to a 4-Week Billing Cycle (and Why You’ll Love It)

If you’ve been part of our Pilates community for a while, you may remember when our memberships were billed monthly — 4, 8, or 12 classes per month. It sounded simple enough, but over time we realized it created more frustration than flexibility for our members.

Now, we’ve moved to a 4-week (28-day) billing cycle for our memberships:

  • 1x/week membership: 4 classes every 4 weeks ($32/class)
  • 2x/week membership: 8 classes every 4 weeks ($28/class)
  • 3x/week membership: 12 classes every 4 weeks ($24/class)

Here’s why this new system is a better fit for how people actually move, schedule, and live — and why we think you’ll find it makes your Pilates routine easier to manage.

1. Your Classes Always Match Your Routine

With monthly billing, we often saw the same issue pop up: people ran short on classes before the month was over.

Why? Because months don’t all have the same number of weeks. Some months have four weeks and a few extra days — and those extra days often meant an extra class (or two) snuck in. If you came once a week, “four classes per month” made sense until a five-week month showed up. Suddenly, you’d either have to skip a class or buy a drop-in.

By switching to a 4-week billing cycle, we’ve made it simple:

  • One billing cycle = 28 days = exactly four weeks.
  • If you come 1x, 2x, or 3x per week, your class credits will always line up perfectly with your schedule.

You’ll never run short before your next billing date — and you can spread out your classes however you like within each 4-week cycle.

2. Consistency Builds Strength and Results

The best results in Pilates come from consistency — not random streaks or long breaks. Our new 4-week billing structure helps create a steady rhythm to your routine.

When your billing and class schedule sync up, it’s easier to plan ahead, stay committed, and see progress. You’ll know exactly when your next cycle starts and how many classes you have to use before it renews.

This approach supports what Pilates is all about: progress through repetition, control, and flow — not last-minute catch-up sessions at the end of each month.

3. Clearer, Simpler Billing (No Surprises)

The 4-week cycle keeps things predictable. You’ll be billed automatically every 28 days — that’s it. There’s no guesswork about which day of the month it will fall on, and no big jumps in timing due to short or long months.

Your billing schedule becomes consistent — just like your classes. And you’ll always know what to expect on your statement.

4. Flexibility Within Each Cycle

Even though billing happens every 4 weeks, you can use your classes however you want during each cycle.

If you’re on a 2x/week plan and you miss a class one week, no problem — you can take three the next week. The credits don’t disappear until your next billing date.

We designed this to fit real life — because even the most dedicated Pilates lovers have busy weeks, vacations, and schedule changes.

5. “Wait — Does This Mean I’m Paying 13 Times a Year?”

This is a common question, and it’s a fair one!

Yes, with a 4-week cycle, there are 13 billing periods in a year instead of 12 calendar months.

But here’s the key point:

You’re also getting 13 full cycles of classes.

In the old system, monthly billing gave you about 48 classes per year on a 1x/week plan (12 months × 4 classes).

Under the 4-week system, you’ll get 52 classes per year (13 cycles × 4 classes).

That’s 4 extra classes per year — and your per-class rate stays the same.

We didn’t increase your class price or sneak in hidden fees. We simply aligned your membership with your actual Pilates schedule. You’re paying for — and receiving — exactly what you use.

6. Designed for Fairness and Transparency

Our goal is to keep things as clear and fair as possible. The 4-week billing system removes the inconsistencies of calendar months and makes it easy to understand:

  • 4 weeks = 1 cycle
  • 1 cycle = your membership credits
  • Credits refresh every 28 days

It’s predictable, simple, and perfectly matched to how we all plan our weeks.

7. The Bottom Line

Our move to a 4-week billing cycle is about making Pilates more sustainable — for your body, your routine, and your peace of mind.

You’ll get:

✅ A consistent flow of classes that matches your weekly rhythm

✅ Easier tracking of class credits and renewals

✅ No more running short in longer months

✅ The same per-class value (and actually more classes per year)

We know change can take a minute to get used to, but we think you’ll find this structure makes everything — from booking to billing — smoother and more intuitive.

As always, our team is here to answer any questions about your membership or billing cycle. The goal is to keep you focused on what really matters: showing up, getting stronger, and feeling your best every week.
