At BOLD Pilates, we took those ingredients and created our own structured program built around the bodies we teach — people who sit at desks, who’ve had kids, or coming back to movement after a long time away. Every class meets you there and builds from it.

The 14-Day Strong Start is a two-week introduction to The BOLD Movement Method — built so you’re set up to succeed from day one. Here’s what’s included:
A free intro session to learn the reformer before your first group class, so you walk in knowing exactly what you’re doing.
A free 1:1 coaching call with Christina, our Lead Teacher, to talk through your goals, your body, and what’s working.
4 group classes to put it all into practice — guided, structured, and built around where you are right now.
What you’ll feel in two weeks
1. The challenge grows with you.
Each class meets your current capacity and gives you somewhere to go. What felt hard in your first class feels different by your fourth, because you’re different. That progression is built in.
2. The results show up off the reformer.
Stronger, more flexible, more capable — not just in class, but in your actual life. Carrying groceries, getting off the floor, keeping up with your kids or grandkids, hiking the trail you used to skip. That’s what we’re actually building.

Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothes that allow for movement. Don’t wear clothing with zippers (which can scratch the equipment) or anything too loose. Sticky socks (sometimes called grip socks) are required for safety and hygiene, so make sure to pick some up on Amazon or wherever you shop.

Just bring yourself, a good attitude, a water bottle if you’d like, and your sticky socks!

No, we don’t take ClassPass at BOLD Pilates, and that is intentional. In order to provide truly personalized service to our clients, we encourage regular attendance with memberships and packages, not the occasional drop-in.

Absolutely! Our All Levels Reformer group classes are great for everyone, including beginners. We make sure to provide layers to each exercise that provide a challenging workout for everyone from beginners through advanced movers. You don’t need any experience to get started—just a willingness to move and try something new. So, come on in to BOLD Pilates Encinitas and try it out!

We’ll guide you through each exercise and offer on-the-spot corrections as needed. Your instructor will offer personalized guidance, and you’ll be supported every step of the way. Expect to leave feeling strong, stretched, and more connected to your body.

Absolutely! Pilates is a fantastic way to stay strong and feel good throughout your pregnancy. It helps with posture, pelvic floor strength, and overall comfort. Just make sure to let us know you’re expecting, and we’ll offer appropriate modifications for each trimester.

Our classes are intentionally small—capped at just 9 people—so we can give you focused, individualized attention. You’re not just working out on your own, you’re guided by a trained instructor the whole time who ensures you’re moving safely and effectively. Because of that, the quality of instruction and personal support is a big part of what makes Pilates so valuable.

We use Momence for all of our scheduling and class bookings. You can sign up through our website or download the Momence app. From there, you’ll be able to view our schedule, reserve classes, manage your bookings, and purchase class packs or memberships—all in one place.
